Georgia Morley

Georgia Morley is an abstract landscape and seascape artist known for her immersive approach to capturing the world’s diverse environments. With a deep-rooted love for nature, Georgia travels extensively, from living on the coast of Nicaragua to solo hiking in Patagonia. Each journey allows her to observe, connect and record the landscapes, creating an abstract interpretation of the energy of each place. With a commitment to sustainability, Georgia’s artistic practice includes the research and use of natural pigments. This exploration has brought deep burgundies from the deserts of Mexico to rich ochres found in the outback of Australia. Indigenous communities, from places such as the Amazon rainforest, have shared their knowledge of pigments from fruits, seeds and plants as well as pigments from rocks. Art has shown to be way to connect people from different walks of life. 'I am obsessed with the world and all of it’s beauty.

I want to capture the miraculousness of it all in my paintings, which are an ode to the Earth - a love letter to both people and planet.’
